SEO copywriters must not write to search engines while neglecting users. Writing for users and search engines must be complimenting to each other. Writing for search engines means only using appropriate words with better action words for helping the content to rank on search results.

Most SEO copywriters use keyword research as a base while selecting words to be used in the content. The choosen words must be used with stemming, such as stem, stemming, stemmer, stemmed etc. Also using synonyms and examples is a godo idea.

Giving references to related articles, magazines, article posts is another good idea to be used by the SEO copywriters. The tone should be more inclined towards being neutral and giving a general prespective to the user.
